Ingredients

  • - 1 cup besan gram flour
  • - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • - 1/4 cup ghee clarified butter
  • - 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • - BOS Natural Yellow Color adjust amount based on desired intensity
  • - Chopped nuts for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
  • Add besan (gram flour) and roast it on low to medium flame until it turns golden brown and aromatic. Stir continuously to avoid burning.
  • Once besan is roasted well, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the roasted besan and mix well.
  • Gradually add BOS Natural Yellow Color to achieve the desired yellow hue. Mix thoroughly until the color is evenly distributed.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly until it's comfortable to handle.
  • Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round laddus (balls) while the mixture is still warm.
  • Optionally, garnish each laddu with chopped nuts while shaping.
  • Let the laddus cool completely before serving.
