Ingredients

  • - 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • - 1 ripe banana peeled and sliced
  • - 1/2 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • - 1/2 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, adjust to taste
  • - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • - BOS Natural Red Color adjust amount based on desired color intensity
  • - Ice cubes optional, for a colder smoothie

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ingredients:
  • - Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them in half.
  • - Peel and slice the banana.
  • Blend the Ingredients:
  • - In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana, plain yogurt, milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and BOS Natural Red Color.
  • - If desired, add a handful of ice cubes for a colder smoothie.
  • Blend Until Smooth:
  • - Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender if needed and blend again to ensure everything is well combined.
  • Adjust Consistency:
  • - If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency. If it's too thin, add more fruit or yogurt.
  • Serve:
  • - Pour the strawberry smoothie into glasses.
  • - Optionally, garnish with a strawberry slice or mint leaves for presentation.
  • Enjoy:
  • - Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing and naturally colored strawberry smoothie!
